GROSVENOR HOUSE APARTMENTS, LONDON Satellite Installation Projects

ESC successfully completed the supply 120 Satellite Installation Projects and terrestrial TV channels, including a range of European and Russian channels. The system is delivered using TV over LAN technology to 362 end user positions. This fully customised HD AV system includes direct links to the hotel PMS system, electronic programmed guide and Video on Demand (VoD) and also supplies games to each room as well as radio channels and more than 5000 songs from a music library.

THE GHERKIN, 30 ST MARY’S AXE, LONDON, UK Satellite Installation Projects

The difficulties associated with being unable to install satellite antennae or aerial equipment onto the top of a glass room were one of the key challenges of this landmark project. However, ESC Digital Media overcame this hurdle by installing satellite-receiving equipment onto a separate building and distributed signals via a fibre connection that was laid under the street and into the Gherkin. A landlord-managed system was then installed into the tower and connection positions made available at each floor location for tenants to connect to as well.

HSBC HEADQUARTERS, LONDON, UK

ESC Digital Media was responsible for the design, supply and installation of the entire satellite and TV system at HSBC’s London HQ. The satellite dish farm and cabling infrastructure feeds more than 20 channels, which are then distributed using IP and Cat5 technology to over 11000 positions across the building.

LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE HEADQUARTERS,

ESC Digital Media designed, supplied and installed a satellite dish farm feeding satellite signals to over 200 positions within the building and fed a separate IF backbone to the entire building. Using our SDF technology, the satellite enclosure was designed and manufactured by ESC Digital Media and was fully compliant with planning requirements. Utilising our trademarked technology, we were able to meet the challenge to create a unique, tailored solution that ensured all dishes were obscured from view from the adjacent St Paul’s Cathedral. We also upgraded the entire distribution system at the London Stock Exchange to feed all TV signals over IPTV. This system also provides links to a further Exchange office via a fibre connection.

BANK OF AMERICA EUROPEAN HEADQUARTERS, LONDON UK

Using fibre to transmit and receive equipment, ESC Digital Media distributed all satellite feeds across this European Headquarters building and fed the entire dish farm over the Cat5/6 infrastructure to over 250 positions.

ESC was commissioned to design, supply and install a digital IPTV system that will transmit satellite and terrestrial television across across the NAB site. Digital signage and video conferencing facilities also form part of this far-reaching solution. We worked closely with the client’s network team to ensure this IPTV solution was rolled out successfully across the network.

200 ALDERSGATE, LONDON, UK Satellite Installation Projects

ESC Digital Media was awarded the contract to supply a site-wide satellite and television distribution system to all 16 floors of this vast building that is made up of two interlinked buildings of different heights and set right in the heart of London.

KCG, LONDON, UK

ESC installed 16 meeting rooms providing full video and audio conferencing systems along with IPTV and trading floor news TVs. World Clock information services needed to be relocated to one building and system integration was required to merge systems and add new technologies to keep all systems in line with the latest technologies. IPads, powered by Crestron control all audio and video systems as well as lighting and blinds in all meeting rooms.

Thomas Cook awarded ESC the contract to install all IPTV and audio visual services at its new headquarters building in the City of London. ESC delivered a site-wide IPTV distribution system that feeds channels to all meeting rooms and breakout areas. Approximately 70 TV channels and a digital signage solution are delivered via the client’s IP system while each of the 18 meeting rooms have an LED TV for show TV, digital signage and/or PC presentation facilities. We are proud to have delivered this remarkable system on time and within budget for this leading holiday travel organisation.

NORTH MIDDLESEX NHS HOSPITAL TRUST, MIDDLESEX, UK

The North Middlesex Hospital has formally opened a new, state-of-the-art 4 x 4-bed bay stroke unit and ESC was commissioned for extending the hospital’s current IPTV system that we installed a few years ago. The new wing added an additional 25 bays that each required a new TV and connection to the TV system. The opening of the ward was bought forward at short notice and we had just one week to complete the project. Thanks to our project management and installation teams’ expertise, the new ward was successfully opened on time with all systems working and commissioned according the client’s exacting specifications.

GRAND HOTEL OYALA KEMPINSKI, EQUATORIAL GUINEA.

ESC Digital Media has been awarded the contract to install a 100-channel IPTV system at the Grand Hotel Oyala Kempinski in Equatorial Guinea. The installation will deliver On Demand TV, worldwide TV channels, Internet connectivity, digital signage and full HD services to all guests.
